Overview

The Onyx Digital Genome Engineering platform dramatically increases the scale of genome engineering, achieving both large numbers of edits as well as a broad variety of edit types. The easy-to-use benchtop platform allows experts and novices alike to seamlessly perform CRISPR-based forward engineering experiments. We’ll examine case studies, including how the Onyx:

  • Enabled high-throughput diversity generation with up to 200,000 edits across the genome in both coding and non-coding regions to improve lysine production in E. coli
  • Improved tyrosine production in yeast
  • Fueled large-scale discovery of gene-phenotype relationships in antibiotic resistance and abiotic stress responses
